ACES e-Learning Courses – Update

We are pleased to advise that the ACES e-Learning courses launched in September last year are proving to be a great success with good feedback from members who have undertaken the courses.

Since the launch of the eLearning courses late last year, we have had over 100 ACES members from across Australia enrolling in the courses. To date, 30 of the members have successfully completed their course and received their certificates.

The e-Learning facility currently comprises two courses as follows.

Cost Estimating & Project Control Curriculum

This course covers the planning and control techniques of project management and will teach how to manage projects of varied sizes effectively. The complete course comprises approximately 18 hours of education.

The course consists of five units:

  • Planning & Scheduling
  • Estimating
  • Cost Planning & Control
  • Risk Analysis & Management
  • Resourse Management

Six Sigma Yellow Belt Curriculum

This course is aimed at aspiring Green & Black Belts, together with anyone who requires a clear overview of the aims of Six Sigma and a good understanding of the Six Sigma & Lean tools & techniques without the clutter of overly technical language.  The course provides approximately 12 hours of education.

The fee for each of the above courses is A$100 which provides 6 months of access to complete the curriculum. The fees are highly subsidised and courses will only be available to ACES members.
